Scrap Criteria for Stainless Steel Wire Ropes

1. SS Wire Rope should be scrapped when the broken wires reach 7-8 within a pitch.
2. The 304 Stainless Steel Wire Rope is worn and the diameter is reduced. If it exceeds 40% of the diameter of the wire rope, it should be scrapped.
3. During the use of Stainless Cable Wire, the whole strand of the wire rope is often broken or the core of the wire rope is extruded, resulting in structural damage. At this time, the wire rope should be scrapped.
4. When transporting or hoisting metal solutions, incandescent materials, and steel wire ropes containing acid, flammable and poisonous objects, which have been corroded by chemical media, stainless steel wire ropes should be scrapped.
5. The Stainless Steel Wire Rope that has been overloaded should not be used again. When the appearance of the wire rope is seriously deformed, the structure is damaged, the rope core is extruded or has obvious curling, and the accumulation phenomenon should be scrapped.
